BUFFALO (6/19/99) - In honor of the Buffalo Sabres, the 1999 National Hockey League Stanley Cup finalists, the City of Buffalo and Erie County will recognize the Buffalo Sabres' players, coaching staff, ownership and administrative staff during a rally at 12:00 noon in front of Buffalo's City Hall on Tuesday, June 22, 1999.

The city and county will jointly sponsor the rally to recognize the entire Sabres organization while thanking the fans for the support they have shown the team during their run through the Stanley Cup playoffs.

The noon rally will feature the "Voice of the Sabres" Rick Jeanneret as master of ceremony. Mr. Jeanneret will introduce the players and attending dignitaries.

The event is free and open to the public.

Media credentials to cover the rally will be distributed at Marine Midland Arena from 8:00 am to 10:00 am on Monday, June 21st.
