MAYOR MASIELLO ANNOUNCES 1999 LARGE TRASH
SCHEDULE

BUFFALO (4/l/99) - Mayor Anthony M. Masiello today announced the 1999 Large Trash Schedule for the City of Buffalo. The schedule will be divided among the city's nine council man districts and will proceed as follows:
Delaware April 4 & September 19
South April 11 & September 26
Niagara April 18 & August 15
Lovejoy April 25 & August 8
Ellicott May 2 & August 22
Masten May 9 & August I
Fillmore May 16 & September 5
University May 23 & September 5
North May 30 & August 29
Residents are advised that each household is limited to a pile 12 ft. long, 3 ft. high and 3ft. wide (4 cubic yards). In addition to these specific dates, homeowners may set out two pieces of large trash per household every week on the regularly scheduled garbage collection day.
The city's Department of Street Sanitation will commence their neighborhood street-sweeping activities in the city's councilmanic districts coincident with Large Trash Schedule.
Any city resident wishing to dispose of additional refuse may do so by taking their garbage to the City Transfer Station at 793 South Ogden, which is open Monday-Friday 7am - 5pm and Saturday 7am - 11 am. Construction and building debris (C&D) is accepted for a charge based on a per weight basis.
